CyberConnector is an open source project with source code on
Github. Use
git clone https://github.com/CSISS/cc.git to download the latest source code to your local. The release file is a war, which you need a tomcat to run it.
We have already used CyberConnector to feed Earth Observation to several models including FVCOM (ocean), CRM (cloud), CMAQ (air quality) and VCI (vegetation condition). See more details by clicking the below links.
VDP is short for virtual data product. In the registry, VDP is the same as physical data product. In the reality, VDP doesn't exist. Once a VDP is requested, a corresponding production workflow will be invoked and dynamically generate a physical data product. VDP is more flexible than traditional data products and allows modelers to customize all sorts of data to fit their models.
CyberConnector depends on web services. Most processes in generating VDP are conducted by web services. CyberConnector provides a registry to archive service metadata and enable users to search and use them in designing a new VDP.
CyberConnector provides some other tools to facilitate the overall modeling and visualization process for Earth science data analysis.
